Ivana Havadejová

I am a graphic designer, artist, and occasional author with a strong interest in print design, specifically publication and editorial design, art, and design criticism.

My creative practice has been largely influenced by the concepts of memory, cultural background, and identity, as well as the discipline of psychogeography. During my undergraduate studies of Art and Design History & Practice at Kingston School of Art, I gained a strong interest in rediscovering and reusing the traditional, often antiquated methods and techniques, which have gradually become the re-occurring aspect I examine in my work.

My current practice can be defined as multidisciplinary and primarily focuses on the subjective perception of the urban environments and its direct impact on the graphic realisation within with consideration of the social, political, and cultural context.
